The Backlund Håkansson Collection is a part of the collection of the Museum of Other Art and consists of more than one thousand pictures, mostly from Sweden and Europe, but also from other parts of the world, including Chile, China, the Canary Islands, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, and the U.S.A. It is the largest collection of its kind in the world.
The Backlund Håkansson Collection was one of the most visited and written about exhibitions in Sweden during 1999 - 2003, “Björktavlan i våra hjärtan.“
